Welcome to the official website of the Institute of Technology Management and Entrepreneurship (IPTK).
IPTK was established in 2004 by UTeM with the approval from the Ministry of Education to conduct postgraduate programmes, reserarch, innovation, consultancy, commercialisation and entrepreneurship for professional development, business, managment and technical services. Physcially located at the Postgraduate Studies Building in UTeM main campus at Durian Tunggal, Melaka, IPTK offers three master of science by research programmes, two master of business by taught course programmes (hybrid) and one Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree by research programme as well as many professional development programmes. IPTK also offers five postgraduate university compulsory courses to all postgraduates students at UTeM.
Being the only institute at UTeM, IPTK functions as a cross-disciplinary research and academic centre, aiming at findings solutions to the problems of industry and society through the conduct of interdisciplinary research and commercialization. IPTK is committed to generate new knowledge and discoveries through the integration of disciplines available in UteM. Taking the advantage of the synergistic impact of the experts in UTeM, students enrolled at IPTK are supervised by experts from other faculties and centre, particularly from the fields of management, social science, ICT and engineering. This is the uniqueness of IPTK.
IPTK is also actively involved in smart partnership with other institutions internationally through the MoAs and MoU with its counterpart, particularly from Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates. IPTK has also been actively involved with the local community through the organization of activities with the communities.
